Hello all, I have updated my old 2008 macbook pro with a brand new 500 GB SSD and 8 GB ram and I have installed El Capitan 10.11.6 as this is the latest - 10728111. Photoshop is primarily used to edit 2D images, although it does offer some 3D image editing functionality. Photoshop includes image analysis functionality, and can be used to prepare images for use online or in-print. What is Photoshop Elements? Adobe Photoshop Elements is the consumer-level version of the Photoshop family of products.

- Just upgraded the MAC OS to 'El Capitan'. 3 MACS. ~ Photoshop Elements 10 (original and subsequent re-installation) loads, functions but when exiting an Image 'FILE: FILE INFO' window the program crashes.*

Photoshop Elements 11 or 12 may slow down or become unresponsive in Yosemite. In the tech note Photoshop Elements stops responding after Mac OS update to Yosemite, Adobe says this is a problem related to the trackpad and can be worked around by using a mouse. Apparently this is not a problem in the current version, Photoshop Elements 13. But if you do, when you try to edit a photo in Elements you’ll see the Elements interface open, but the photo will never show up. Instead of choosing the Elements icon in the main application folder, you need to go to Applications Adobe Photoshop 11 Support Files and choose the Adobe Photoshop Elements Editor.app file. Reboot you Capitan hardware box (A Macbookpro for me) Drag you CS5 app to the garbage box. Install CS5 from Adobe download server. Enter your license Key. Start photoshop CS5. All is working now. Screenshot with Photoshop CS5 working with El Capitan.

- Has anyone else had this experience and any suggestions??

Thanks.

The process of 'installing' an ICC color profile is nothing more than pasting (or drag and drop) into a specific folder in the operating system. Your printing software looks in that folder when it comes time to print. It then creates a profile list you can choose from in the print dialog.

Patch custom maid 3d 2. If you use Photoshop CS4 or earlier, or Photoshop Elements, restart your computer after following these instructions.

Download and Unzip the Profile

You can find all Red River Paper profiles here

Profiles come from our website as zipped folders. Downloaded items usually arrive in your Downloads Folder or on the Desktop. This is computer specific and Red River Paper does not have control over where items are saved on your computer.

Photoshop Elements Compatible With El Capitan

Double click the zipped folder.

An unzipped folder will appear next to the zipped item you just clicked. Double click this folder to see its contents.

A typical profile download will contain an ICC profile and an instructions PDF.

Photoshop Elements El Capitan
You will copy and paste the profile only. Do not attempt to copy the entire folder as that not work.

Copy the profile

Start by single-clicking on the profile to highlight it.

Go to the Edit menu and click on Copy

Locate the profiles folder

You are going to: Mac HD > Your User Name > Library > Colorsync > Profiles

Click on the Go menu.

HOLD DOWN THE OPTION KEY ON YOUR KEYBOARD
(If you do not, you will not see the Library option)

The 'Library' option will appear in the Go listing. Click it.

Clicking 'Library' in the Go menu will launch a finder taking you to the Library folder under your user folder.

Once you are in the Library folder you will navigate to:
ColorSync > Profiles as shown above.

Paste the profile into the Profiles folder

Place your mouse over a white space in the profiles folder and click once.

Go to the Edit menu, locate and click on 'Paste Item'.

Photoshop Elements El Capitan
You may see an administrator authentication box appear when pasting the profile. Just enter your admin password where prompted.

The profile has now been 'installed' into your system. It will be available in the profile selection of your photo editing / printing program.
